The purpose of the hospitals, institutions & public information committee is to bring H.A. meetings and resources into places such as rehabilitation centers and corrections facilities (H&I). It also coordinates with the media and public community to provide general information regarding Heroin Anonymous (P.I).
The purpose of this committee is to handle the planning and execution of all events within our H.A. Area, to support and connect with surrounding areas, and to promote unity within the fellowship.
The purpose of this committee is to maintain an inventory of HA key tags and literature that are made readily available at the monthly Area Committee Meeting.
The purpose of this committee is to create, manage, and routinely update content for the Toledo Area HA website. Meeting schedule, HA literature, committee information, and resources for help are all kept up to date for any and all to use.
Joining a committee is a great opportunity to be of service outside of the homegroup level and to help spread the message of recovery!
The ninth tradition states: “H.A., as such, ought never be organized; but we may create service boards or committees directly responsible to those they serve.”
